the past few weeks i've been booking a tour for shinto katana from sydney and dead kings from canberra
this is my first real effort at booking shows outside of canberra and it's been pretty sweet
cam at destroy all lines has been the hugest help and he gives me faith that there are actually some genuinely good people out there
been doing canberra shows for him and DAL for a few months now and any trouble we've hit he's helped us work out solutions and just been generally cool about everything
same goes with booking these tour dates, just been a straight up dude

i'm really excited for these shows

at the moment i'm drawing a picture of a heavily tattooed girl for a deez nuts shirt
it's going to be the girl shirt counterpart to the gonz shirt i did a couple months back
so far i have the girl drawn and a few of her tattoos, tomorrow morning i'm going to finish her arm and all the details and then scan it in and fix it up
i'm real siked on how its going so far

hopefully next week i'll get around to posting some of the work i've done recently
in the meantime, sleep.

same as it ever was

Been a while since my last post.
Shit's been busy.

It's 8:12am and I'm sitting on the floor of the lounge room of what has now been dubbed 'Vegan House'.
Morgan, Josh and Gabb recently (recently being 4 days ago) moved into a new place in Lyneham.
It's pretty tight, its right near where I first lived when I moved to canberra as a kid, so its kind of like coming back to my old stomping grounds. I love this area.
Its also right in between Simon's house and Au Lac. Which is just win win really.
I'm down with this house.

Pretty much since my last update I have:
- Earnt and spent a lot of money
- Started a DJing gig at Bar 32
- Drawn some pictures of fat girls
- Cried once
- Celebrated Aaron's birthday
- Dressed in purple
- Freaked about my debt situation
- and danced a lot

So its been up and down really.

The reason I'm on morgan's floor so early in the morning is because I slept here (as did Dave, who is still snoring next to me). The reason for this (sleeping here, not Dave's sinus issues) is because we're going to Sydney today.
In about an hour and a half I'd say, we're leaving to go eat, shop, hang out and see Ruiner.

Ruiner are a band I always manage to forget exactly how much I like them.
Their name is bandied around so often I kind of just shrug them off until I listen to them again and go "wow fuck".
I can't really explain exactly why I like them, but I just do. A lot.
So im pretty excited about tonight.
Also get to catch up with sydney dudes (haven't been to sydney in a long time) as well as a few melbourne and brisbane dudes coming down. It's gonna be one huge love in.

We're coming straight back after the show tonight with the added company of Zaca. Then its work tomorrow and then another Ruiner show.

This week is actually going pretty good, the only downsides have been the weird ranga/blue eye combo bitch in lost that scares me every time she's on screen. The amount of work I've got to do the lack of time to do it in and lastly the feeling that just about every woman around me bar my mother and my sister is either flat out crazy, trying to work everyone around them for their own benefit or just a slut. Shit's rough.
But whatever, single life is ruling.

But that's it for now, Dave's up and I have a bottle of vanilla coke waiting for me (breakfast of champions)
